Another Honor Killing In Michigan

It's happened again. Another Muslim man. Another dead Muslim daughter. For honor.

That, at least, is what police believe about the murder of 20-year-old Jessica Mokdad. Police allege her stepfather, Rahim Alfetlawi, shot her in the head because she had jettisoned the religion of Mohammed. He is charged with first-degree murder. He shot Jessica, police allege, at her grandmother's in Warren, Michigan, just outside Detroit.

Military Atheists Want Chaplains

In what may be the apogee of oxymoronic ideas, a gaggle of military atheists is pushing the armed forces to create atheist chaplains. That's right, the people who deny God exists apparently believe they need a "chaplain" to help guide them and reinforce their values, such as they are.

The effort to defund Planned Parenthood has failed on the national level, but pro-lifers in the states have taken up the battle to cut off taxpayer funds to the organization, which has cornered a third of the abortion business in the United States.

Two abortionists in Maryland, charged with murder under the state’s fetal homicide law, claim that prosecutors are misusing that law and attacking a woman’s “right to choose.” Attorneys for the duo made the argument last week in court in asking a judge to dismiss the state’s case.

Sebelius: "We Are in a War" for Abortion

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius (left), the renegade Catholic who is not permitted to receive communion, told a group of abortion advocates that she joined them in being "at war” with Republicans on the abortion issue.

The Virginia Board of Health has approved tough new regulations governing the operation of abortuaries in the Old Dominion. The regulations now permit the state to closely monitor these businesses to ensure that women who seek to end the lives of their unborn children do so in a safe, sterile environment.

homosexual weddingA conservative religious group has filed suit against the state of New York for its new legislation legalizing homosexual “marriage,” which Governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law on June 24.

The homosexual lobby vigorously opposes any sort of discrimination against its members. And it has persuaded politicians across the country, most recently in New York, that homosexuals must be permitted to “marry.” But if you aren’t homosexual and want to play poofter softball, forget about it.

Bryant Apologizes to Homosexuals for Remark

Kobe Bryant, the superstar shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, has apologized to homosexuals everywhere for calling a referee a "f*****g faggot" during a game against the San Antonio Spurs. The NBA fined him $100,000.

Bryant, once arrested on a rape charge that was dropped, made the comment about referee Bennie Adams after Adams called Bryant for a technical foul that put him on the bench.

Report: Few Americans Are Homosexual

A researcher at the UCLA School of Law reports that 9 million American adults, about 3.5 percent of the population, are homosexual, lesbian, or bisexual.

Gary Gates of the school's Williams Institute puts that figure in perspective by noting that 3.5 percent of the population is about the same number of people who live in New Jersey.
