It should be pointed out that We the People have been tolerant of the government's licensing a right. A few brave sovereigns have not. They have suffered while we ignored the abuse. Now that all of us are beginning to feel the sting we should restrict the priviledge government has abused and stop the licensing of rights. Better late than never. Gov't will continue to assume increasing power without restraint. We must begin restraint now, before gov't grows too big to stop. - Don Duncan

"Why...did our grandparents allow government of license cars..."
Maybe they did not "allow" it. If you read the CA license law(and I am told many others) the wording of the law does not include private modes of conveyance. The term "commercial vehicle" is used. Almost nobody drives what would normally be considered that. Also, if you read the definition of "commercial vehicle" it appears a mistake is being made. However, auto manufactures are required to put an I.D. number on every auto and this somehow makes it "commercial". It is not ethical but it is a legal trick used to raise revenue and increase control.(Two major activities of gov't.) The problem with fighting illegal, immoral tricks like these is that most people believe we have to suffer and support violation of rights if the gov't judges who benefit financially and socially rule in a corrupt manner. Most actually consider this justice. And there lies the problem. - Don Duncan

ID Card

A similar program has alreadu been implemented in many "Ports" around the country. As someone who occasionally does consulting on offshore oil and gas projects, I recently was forced to submit to a full federal background check and carry a "chipped" ID card when on private facilities for the purpose of catching a boat to go offshore. In one respect it eliminated the mass of "illegal aliens" that were previously working offshore. However we are sacrificing freedom daily in many areas of our lives.

Tech Regs are "working as intended" according to State Dept.

The presence of an RFID tag in U.S. passport cards [and in PASS Act/Real ID regulations] has raised privacy concerns, but government officials insist the technology is safe--and that the efficiency it adds at land borders is worth the risk.

Ultimately, Michael Holly, chief of consular affairs/international affairs at the U.S. Department of State, says [a hackers] interception of the passport card’s data is no reason for concern.
“[The hacker] actually was doing nothing more than what we intended to have happen…the card, if powered by a reader, will give off the ID number, which is simply a pointer to the data that we share with the Department of Homeland Security,” he says.
http://beatthechip.blogspot.com/

You must now chose: your are either with God or against him.
The real ID is the plan to move us to the RFID Chip. No joke: see Aaron Russo's interview on youtube (800,000 hits). He states clearly that Nick Rockefeller told him that the Chip is the ultimate goal.
Henry Kissinger said in his interview with Charlie Rose (youtube) that on one side is globalization (the NWO), and on the other side is religion.

The only way people will wake up in large numbers to stop this march toward Fascism, is if they see that Government has evil intentions. Unfortunately the major media does a good job in lying to people. It will take a new investigation of 911 to do the job. This case has not been erased from history yet by the Ministry of Truth. The internet still holds all the truth.

God be with you. If we show bravery, God will not fail us. As he said, "I AM". - Thomas Paine

Go Becky! It's time for us to demand an end to the whole "Papers please" mentality. Travel was upheld as an individual right by the SCOTUS. Excersizing a right does not require permission, otherwise it would be a privilege. Great article, like all the rest you have written! - Alex123
