Cain Gingrich and Perry are all controlled by the same insiders that control Bush and Obama. Elect any of the three One Worlders and you will see no basic changes in Washington. Just less citizen participation as the general public will go back to sleep
thinking they have a Republican conservatie in the house. Only to wake up to discover that they have lost there freedom and country.
Because they fell for the line of the controlled fabercating media and put another Socialist in the house instead.
There is only one honorable-honest-unwaivering and wisest candidate in this race. That is the electable Doctor Ron Paul and we need to elect Ron Paul for President and a whole bunch of like-minded American Patriots to the House and the Senate. Then and only then we may we start getting our house back in order.

Cain and Newt were certainly congenial although agreed the debate aspect was very much to be desired. But, that said it was refreshing at least to see two political hopefuls sighting responsible views that need to be explored and understood by the uneducated public. This understanding can only be more for the benefit of correcting the desperate times this country is facing, then not. Newt is a very smart policy wonk and expresses his would be policy positions very clearly...although an insider and a CFR...these are the people we have to work with. It's always been the lesser of two evils. Cain is swimming in the deep water and needs a life guard close at hand until he gets his sea legs. Who better then Newt. Face it is you don't get a Republican in for 2012 your going to get 4 more of Obama! If that happens there is no hope in hell for an exit from this Tyranny, Debt Tax and War...considering the rest of the GOP pack, EXCLUDING Ron Paul...these two at least have opened the discussion on issues that have clearly been ignored and covered up and popo'd by political rhetoric. - bryant Fraser

Seemed Like an advert for a Gingrich/Cain ticket

Yes, it was a snooze fest. But it also highlighted Cain's ignorance. Twice when it was his turn to respond first, he deferred to Gingrich to go first. On one of the two occasions, I am pretty sure it was because he hoped he would learn enough from Newt's answer to make an intelligent comment on a subject of which he knew nothing.

Another impression I got was that, on Medicaid, both Gingrich and Cain are proposing Ron Paul light . They say the federal government should give the states block grants and let the states figure out the best way for each to run Medicaid. Ron Paul would say, why let the federal government take the money in the first place. By putting it through the feds, you add administrative costs, ineffective (re)allocation of funds, mismanagement and fraud. Ron would recommend getting the feds out of Medicaid and let the states collect whatever taxes and design whatever program works for them.

Carl, Tea Party Patriots is the Koch brothers coopted faction of the TEA Party. Cain is tight with the Kochs, hence they sponsored this debate. This faction does NOT represent the entire TEA Party, especially those of us who were in the original Ron Paul TEA Party back in 2007. Some of us are in the TEA Party movement without being affiliated with a particular faction. Other factions include (from wiki):

501(c)(4) Non-Profit Organizations:

Tea Party Patriots, an organization with more than 1,000 affiliated groups across the nation[105] that proclaims itself to be the "Official Home of the Tea Party Movement.[106]
Americans for Prosperity, an organization founded by David H. Koch in 2003, and led by Tim Phillips. The group has over 1 million members in 500 local affiliates, and led protests against health care reform in 2009.[103]
FreedomWorks, an organization led Dick Armey. Like Americans for Prosperity, the group has over 1 million members in 500 local affiliates. It makes local and national candidate endorsements.[103]
Tea Party Express, a national bus tour run by Our Country Deserves Better PAC, itself a conservative political action committee created by Sacramento-based Republican consulting firm Russo, Marsh, and Associates.[107][108][109][110]

For-Profit Businesses:

Tea Party Nation, which sponsored the National Tea Party Convention that was criticized for its $549 ticket price.[111][112][113][114] and because Sarah Palin was apparently paid $100,000 USD for her appearance (which she put towards SarahPAC[115]).[116]

Informal Organizations and Coalitions:

The National Tea Party Federation, formed on April 8, 2010, by several leaders in the Tea Party movement to help spread its message and to respond to critics with a quick, unified response.[117]
The Nationwide Tea Party Coalition, a loose national coalition of several dozen local tea party groups.

Tea Party Patriots - what a laugh

If these clowns represent the nature of the Tea Party, then the movement is doomed. This organization is proof positive that the "Tea Party" has been usurped by NeoCon ideology and is in reality Faux Conservative. I can only hope that true conservatives will see through the facade (it should be much easier after this "event"), but I am not all that optomistic. - Carl
