In early October, King became the first member of Congress to call for the dismissal of Jennings, who was appointed by Obama to head the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools. On October 15, King and 52 other House Republicans sent a letter to the President, repeating that call and claiming that Jennings "lacks the appropriate qualifications and ethical standards to serve in this capacity." The letter detailed reasons why the representatives believe Jennings, founder of the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network, has "played an integral role in promoting homosexuality and pushing a pro-homosexual agenda in America's schools — an agenda that runs counter to the values that many parents desire to instill in their children." Ha ha ha! "Unrepetant drug use"! Reminds me of a coke-head president we had whose name began with George and ended with Dumb. What hypocrites you guys are. At least argue the issue and stop clouding it with ad hominem nonsense. Oh, and do you want to know why the President hasn't answered your letter? Because its rude bigotted diatribe and not a reasoned argument. What we need is more religious freedom in schools. That much I agree with. Hail Satan, you guys! See ya in class. |

more lies All this article does is spread myths that have been proven to be false. The "15-year-old" student has been interviewed recently and all the facts are known. The truth is that he was not 15 at the time, and in fact he was of the legal age of consent. Therefore, because the student was of legal age of consent, Jennings by law WAS NOT a "mandatory reporter", Mr. Jennings WAS NOT required by law to report anything, and by definition "child abuse, including sex crimes" DID NOT occur. All this is easily verifiable and proven. Stop lying! |

... Len, at the time< Jennings believed the student was 15 years old. That requires him to notify authorities. That's the law. Because you found a "loophole" to approve of pedophile behavior is pathetic. As a teacher, if you believe a student is 15 years old being abused by a pedophile, you are required to report it. If the child is older than 15, that will be determined by the authorities. Clearly Jennings believed the child to be 15 but patted him on the back for getting abused. The fact that you excuse an extremist who is a danger to children is just as pathetic! THe NH School Board should resign along with Jennings! |

Congressman Steve King (R-Iowa) is not giving up his effort to have Kevin Jennings fired as President Obama's "school safety czar," despite not having received a reply from the President two months after King and 52 other members of the U.S. House of Representative sent a letter to the White House, calling for the ouster of the controversial Department of Education official.
