But now we have a real Duke rape case, and one that largely conforms to the above narrative. Frank Lombard, Duke’s associate director of the Center for Health Policy, faces federal criminal charges for offering his adopted five-year-old son for sex. Where are the parallels? Lombard is white and well-to-do while his victim, the son, is black (Lombard also has a second adopted son, who is black as well). Yet there are also differences. One is that, unlike the tenuous lacrosse-player case, authorities have Lombard dead to rights. Writes the blog Self Evident Truths: The arrest warrant states that a person, later identified as Lombard, used video chat on the internet to perfom [sic] sex acts on a child under the age of ten.... The complaint says Lombard's chat room ID lists him as "perv dad for fun." There are also other differences between the cases. One is that there is no reason to expect the media to do anything but bury this story posthaste. Why? Because, despite the aforementioned parallels, it doesn’t completely accord with today’s favored victimizer/victim narrative, as Lombard is a homosexual, making the victim a child who was adopted by a homosexual. Thus, while Lombard’s sexual inclination alone is enough to make the mainstream media treat this case with the “utmost discretion,” there is an additional factor: disseminate the facts of the crime enough, and people just may get the crazy notion that it’s lunacy to let homosexuals adopt children, especially little boys. So you’ve just got to watch the information you put in the yahoos’ heads. Not surprisingly, this double standard is already apparent in the reportage. In the Duke lacrosse case, not only was the story front page, but an accuser of the easiest virtue was painted in the best light. For example, the stripper was often called an “exotic dancer,” which is much like calling a prostitute an exotic blind date. In contrast, now the mainstream media seem most reluctant to reveal Lombard’s homosexuality or the adopted victim’s race. Next, at risk of being redundant, don’t hold your breath waiting for the mainstream stream media to get on board; like the National Organization for Women, with its deafening silence regarding the savaging of Sarah Palin and women’s plight in Moslem nations, they care not about little victims but leftist agendas. Lastly, the News & Observer tells us that Lombard is “a licensed clinical social worker with a master's degree in social work, [and] is a health-disparities researcher who studies HIV/AIDS in the rural South” (read: professional victimologist). So, not that any more evidence of his ideological persuasion was necessary, but it’s obvious that the man is thoroughly liberal in his professional life — and libertine in his personal life. Yet don’t expect the purveyors of pablum to be point this out, either. Speaking of the race card, the hierarchy of victim groups is much like a deck of cards: black is a good hand, but it’s trumped by female. And, it appears, homosexual trumps everything. Tipping Point Are we at the point of no return? Where is righteousness and goodness in our culture? Are our underpinnings completely corrupt? For the sake of the child in this case....and all children...is our nation lost? The rot is deep. |

Thanks Thanks for writing this. This story is horrible and a part of a growing pattern. Not only is Frank Gay but he is also living in a leftist commune that until recently advertised itself as gay/bisexual/transgender friendly with no restrictions on adult relationships. The Eco Commons Commune has not responded to Frank's arrest. They'd touted communal babysitting and shared meals but none have come forward to condemn his actions. There are many Duke Staff that live in this environmentally conscious commune. Frank is also a leader in his church (now marked inactive). That this is not a sensational story is dumbfounding. It has all the trappings of an excellent story with all kinds of great questions left to be answered. |

The rot is very deep @ Duke & in Durham The founder of Eno Commons, Sherri Zann Rosenthal, a Duke grad, is the senior assistant city attorney for the City of Durham. The city attorney's office was openly hostile and exhibited strange, unprofessional behavior during the trials during and after the lacrosse team had been accused. Her female partner is an academic at Duke in the nursing department of the university. The 2 nurses found to have perpetuated false charges, based on false evidence against the team, were at Duke's health center. One of the nurses, Tara Levicy, who is a radical feminist based on her writings, was not forced to comply with the full period of training and was granted a license without completing the requirements. Her supervisor Theresa Arico was also sued for her complicity in the fraud. The pedophile, Frank Lombard, a friend and neighbor of Rosenthal in Eno Commons, used an online screen name of cooper and cooper2 according to the affidavit that charged him, Cooper is a reference to one of the students from the Lacrosse team who sued Duke University, the health center and the nurses for the fraud and false evidence. There is so much more that is not being discussed in all this, including the fact that a senior assistant city attorney threatening the press that went to the neighborhood to interview neighbors after what is a heinous crime. I can't help but wonder about the undue influence and power Sherri Zann Rosenthal and her girlfriend, friends and other associates have in city government, and if they prevent full investigations into what goes on in the community, especially in regards to children. If you ask me, the entire commune needs to be seriously investigated, and Ms. Rosenthal needs to be suspended and an investigation into whether there is corruption and abuse of power in the city attorney's office. |

So where are the satellite trucks? They were there for the lacrosse case and Newsweek even rated the story worth a cover, replete with booking photos of the (actually innocent) students. Will this story even be mentioned by Newsweek at all? I await without baited breath... |

White Male rapes a defenseless black child the Mainstream could care less The "Big News" has an agenda and here is another example of that agenda at work. You see the CFR controlled media has just proven to those of us who are paying attention that they really don't care about victims regardless of their skin color. They only make a stink if it will further their agenda. That poor child is as unimportant to them as roadkill out on route 66. |

To DM... I see only the travesty enacted upon an innocent who will be scarred for life, and a callous audience who look the other way. We must not be thin-skinned and take offense where there is none. |

Whacko Jacko Michael Jacko had white children and lord knows what he's done to them. No, the media knows this is not the time to air the 2nd Duke scandal because it would interfere with jacko ratings. |

We all remember the infamous Duke University rape frame-up case, in which three white lacrosse players were falsely accused of raping a black female stripper. It was front-page news coast to coast, as it had all the elements of a mainstream-media cause célèbre: the perfect victim and the perfect villains, a “downtrodden” black woman of modest means and three “privileged” white college boys. Thus did the hard-left alliance of media, academia, and a Democrat prosecutor try its best to lynch the three, and if the stripper’s story hadn’t changed with the wind, the students could very well be sitting in prison currently.
