And would you believe that it is Pravda, the former mouthpiece of the Communist Party of the U.S.S.R., which is now laughing at America’s left-wing predicament? Pravda is probably more reliable than the New York Times or the Washington Post as a source of honest news about America’s political scene. A journalist by the name of Stanislav Mishin, writes in Pravda’s issue of April 29, 2009: It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people. True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the last twenty years. The initial testing ground was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists. If you’ve read Antony C. Sutton’s book, Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution, you would understand what Mr. Mishin is referring to. Western money financed the Russian revolution, and millions of Russians died resisting the communist takeover of their country. But Marxists have learned from that experience and know how to impose their dictatorship “democratically.” Mr. Mishin continues: Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters. First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather than the classics. . . . Then their faith in God was destroyed. . . . The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been record setting, not just in America’s short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more than another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Weimar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe. Would the New York Times say anything like this on its editorial page? This was written in April of 2009, before the Tea Party Movement really got underway. The great American rebellion hopefully will put a stop to the nation’s headlong descent into Marxism in November 2010 and restore our Constitutional republic. Mr. Mishin further observes: So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set ‘fair’ maximum salaries, evaluate performance, and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses?… Prime Minister Putin, less than two months ago, warned Obama and UK’s Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our ‘wise’ Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride. Strong words that no one in our mainstream media will dare utter. By the way, how come we heard nothing about Putin’s warning to Obama and Tony Blair? That should have made headlines in the American press. But what all of this proves is that Americans have been slow to recognize the encroachment of Marxism in our government. The Income Tax, the Federal Reserve, Social Security, Government Education are all part of the Marxist plan called for in the Communist Manifesto. Under Democrat Jimmy Carter we got the federal Department of Education, and billions of dollars siphoned into the public schools, which didn’t know how to teach children to read but knew how to indoctrinate the kids in collectivism. Then we got Medicare and Medicaid to soften us up for a National Healthcare system. And finally under Obama, we are about to get as much socialism as the Democrats can shove down the throats of the American people. Dr. Samuel L. Blumenfeld is the author of nine books on education including NEA: Trojan Horse in American Education, The Whole Language/OBE Fraud, and The Victims of Dick & Jane and Other Essays. Of NEA: Trojan Horse in American Education, former U.S. Senator Steve Symms of Idaho said: “Every so often a book is written that can change the thinking of a nation. This book is one of them.” Mr. Blumenfeld’s columns have appeared in such diverse publications as Reason, The New American, The Chalcedon Report, Insight, Education Digest, Vital Speeches, WorldNetDaily, and others. Holy turning of tables, Batman! During the reign of the Soviets, Russians had a saying about Pravda (which, I believe, means "truth" in Russian?): "In Russia, the news is not truth and the truth is not news." Thanks to the mainstream (left wing) media in America, that applies here, today. But what a terrific irony that this prophecy should come from a Pravda reporter. Unfortunately, Mr. Blumenfeld, you put too much faith in the Republican party which has, itself, been complicit in the destruction of our constitutional republic. I admire your optimism regarding the American people, but the "silent majority" has become a minority while the enemies of our freedom have monopolized all mediums of public discourse to indoctrinate (and dumb down, as Mishin rightly observes) the overwhelming majority of the younger generation. The Tea Party is probably too little, too late. Getting more RINO sellouts like Bush, Dole, Specter (oops, he finally did show his true colors, didn't he?), etc. elected is not going to stop the ship from sinking. |

Would you believe that Russia has become more anti-Marxist than the United States? Actually that isn’t hard to believe since the Russians suffered under Marxist-Communism for 70 abysmal years and have no desire to repeat it. But Americans are so ignorant of Marxism that they can’t even recognize it when it is being imposed on them by their Democratic political leaders. No Republican at the recent Summit dared call Obama, or Pelosi, or Reid socialists.
