For the 800 scientists and interested parties at the second annual conference sponsored by the Chicago-based Heartland Institute, this was a moot point. Virtually all of the attendees from 40 countries are quite certain that carbon dioxide emissions from any source — natural or as a function of human activities — have very little, if any, effect on global temperatures. Tom Stacy is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) National Enegry Policy Committee. Trackback(0)

The evils of green Now we know what the evil side of the green movment is its to depopulate the earth by eco-extermists and deep ecoligists using this GLOBAL WARMING hogwash, maybe they should start with the eco-radicals in the elmination prosses it was suggested by JAQUE COISETE and reed the books RAINBOW SIX by TOM CLANCY and STATE OF FEAR by MICHEAL CRITON |

Man-made global warming is a hoax Not a Brainwashed, you seem to be really brainwashed. More and more scientists and thinking people all over the world are realizing that man-made global warming is a hoax that threatens our future and the future of our children. More than 650 international scientists dissented last year over the man-made global warming claims. They are more than 12 times the number of UN scientists (52) who authored the media-hyped IPCC 2007 Summary for Policymakers. http://epw.senate.gov/public/i...9faf4dcdb7 In addition to the 650 dissenting international scientists, and the 800 that just met in New York, 32,000 American scientists have signed onto a petition that states, "There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate…" http://www.petitionproject.org/index.html "Progressive" (communist) politicians like Obama seem determined to force us to swallow the man-made global warming scam. We need to defend ourselves from the UN and these politicians, who threaten our future and the future of our children. Based on a lie, they have already wasted billions and plan to increase taxes, limit development, and enslave us. If not stopped, the global warming scam will enrich the scammers (Gore and Obama’s Wall Street friends), increase the power of the U.N. and communists like Obama, and multiply poverty and servitude for the rest of us. |

Klaus calls climate change is a dangerous myth Attending the Conference in New York was Vaclav Klaus, president of the European Union, who states that “environmentalism is the new communism and climate change is a dangerous myth.” Lord Christopher Monckton, expressing the opinion of an increasing number of scientists, said that there is no climate crisis. He added, "The environmental movement has to be outlawed, because their policies have murdered 40 million people, mainly children, with the ban on DDT." He added, "They have caused mass starvation and food riots with their nonsensical drive for bio-fuels. The forces of darkness in the environmental movement want create a new dark age in which humanity is pushed back to the Stone Age and without the right to light a fire." http://www.larouchepub.com/pr/..._conf.html |

Not A Brainwashed Right Wing Retard Yeah, you're not a brainwashed right wing retard, you're a brainwashed left wing retard. And we do talk science. Try reading the article at: http://www.thenewamerican.com/tech...onment/741 The article knows "how greenhouses work", too. And it knows what greenhouse gasses are. It knows that carbon dioxide contributes to under 5% of the total greenhouse gasses. (around 95% is water vapor) Try following the link halfway down the page for more information. For more information about global warming, read this article: http://www.thenewamerican.com/tech...onment/759 |

A Challenge to NOT A BRAINWASHED... The beautiful thing about sweeping and imprecisely defined theories like man-made global warming is that you don't need to be a specialist, such as a climatologist, to rip apart their foundations. Any student of science understands that any scientific theory is built, tested, and refined using the scientific method. It is simple to understand: devise a hypothesis, test it, and use the observations from the test to either throw the hypothesis out or continue building upon it. The key is that the hypothesis is testable, i.e., it is capable of being disproven at any time. The introduction of a hypothesis that is not testable is a non-starter and therefore is not scientific. Herein lies the fatal flaw of man-made global warming theory: no experiment can be devised to test it. No experiment can be devised to DISPROVE that man is causing global warming. A theory that cannot be disproven is not a scientific theory. So I ask NOT A BRAINWASHED..., if you're so convinced that man-made global warming is a legitimate scientific hypothesis, then describe an experiment that could DISPROVE it. I'll give you a hint: it has never been done. |

... I understand that ADOLPH HITLER was a big time eco-freak he was into new age mysticism and the worship of pagan idols he would have fit in well with the green movment of today |

According to California Congressman Tom McClintock, the world’s six billion humans breathe out 2.4 billion tons of carbon dioxide each year. His state has a goal of reducing emissions by 170 million tons of carbon dioxide to meet legislative requirements. Simple mathematics shows if we can just "do away" with 425 million of Earth’s inhabitants, we can help Governor Schwarzenegger meet his bogie. Congressman McClintock was one of 80 presenters at the 2009 International Conference on Climate Change held this week in New York City.
