According to Cardin’s press release, “The Newspaper Revitalization Act would allow newspapers to operate as non-profits, if they choose, under 501(c)(3) status for educational purposes, similar to public broadcasting.” Cardin’s stated goal is “to help the newspaper industry survive.” It’s like introducing legislation to save horse-drawn carriages, or steam engines, or black-and-white TV. It’s stupid. It’s pointless. It won’t work.... Democracy existed long before newspapers did, and it will survive without them. And plenty of countries that don't have democracy do have newspapers.... The only beneficiaries of a bailout would be a handful of big newspaper companies that used to be profitable and powerful and now, well, aren't. While Cardin’s legislation had taken a back seat to other pressing matters such as healthcare reform, several recent events brought it to the fore again. The Blade reported on September 20 about their interview of President Barack Obama regarding the state of journalism in America, and the Washington Times featured a September 24 story about the Joint Economic Committee’s hearing on “The Future of Newspapers: The Impact on the Economy and Democracy.”

First Amendment in Foreclosure If this isn't in conformance with Das Kapital/Mein Kamph action what is? Here goes the "free press" owned by the Elite and big banks so that they can counter the reason they are failing. There is an ever growing distrust of the Pinkleys the Blow Jaws and the Ratters...etc. This is rather obious when we see the consolidation of Media into the fewer hands of the "Left". Who in their right mind would buy into the disintegrating Media unless it has been a planned-for nationalization all along? PBS (PINK BIAS SYSTEM)is what we will officially have instead of unofficially. Meanwhile the "chief teleprompter reader" (Babble-On) wants to monopolize the Internet also. If you speak up against what is going on in all the subsidized favoritism, publicly, then it is a hate crime. As evil as the socialized "Health Care" is it goes deeper. It sets the precident for interfering in all contracts, all pricing, all wages. This will be the end of Entrepeneurial Free Enterprise in America. Next will be the Second Amendment which will be the "final" war. This is when Americans who thought they were being patriotic, going along to get along, will say, "Gee, I voted in every election but I didn't vote for this". DAH!!! Let us get the "Tenth Amendment" tea bagging going. "First we will take Eastern Europe then the mass and masses of Asia. Last we will take that last bastion of Capitalism, America. We will not have to invade her for she will fall like overripe (rotten) fruit into our hands."-Lenin. This is what the creators of the UN have had planned for us from the beginning. Every President since FDR has been cooperating in this "Master" scheme. (Every President) (Lieing Politicians) (Traitorous Supreme Court) It is called Commu-Nazis-Fascist Socialism. Take your pick. |

Senator Benjamin Cardin (D-Md.) introduced “The Newspaper Revitalization Act” on March 24 of this year. The legislation would allow the nation’s struggling newspapers to restructure as nonprofit, tax-exempt entities similar to public broadcasting stations.
