Odilon Visoso, who was using the name Adam Rodriguez at the time, was working at Cargill on May 9, 2006, when a 100-pound piece of meat fell off a hook and hit the back of his head, neck, and shoulder. Cargil is for cheep labor... This one really gets me because I come from a small town where there is a Cargil meat packing plant. My father worked there for years and saw all the games that the play when it comes to illegal alians. There were a few major raids that showed the eagerness to show the local media that they were cleaning house. Only to hire them all back and some over the next year. Cargil is a company who abuses it's workers when it comes to their health and I'm sick that this illegal was given compenation when my father had to fight tooth and nail to get anything for his injuries. I think a wide investagation of Cargil should be done to expose how they are working against the American citizen! |
