Raping the Language

There are many examples of the dumbing-down of the English language, all of which are driven by ignorance, insidiousness, or both. Whatever the case, we ought to be mindful of the theme of the old book The Tyranny of Words: The side that defines the vocabulary of a debate wins the debate. So watch your mouth — the culture you save may be your own.

Barack Obama: the Liar’s Liar

Barack Obama certainly knows his market. He understands that with an America so dumbed-down, and a media so prostrate before him, he can get away with lies previous presidents wouldn’t dare contemplate. And his history of using the Big Lie technique is a long one.

Liberal CNN Panelists Defend Murderer Dorner

CNN's Brooke Baldwin hosted a panel discussion on Dorner’s support involving MC Lyte of Café Mocha Radio; Buzzfeed sports editor Jack Moore; Lauren Ashburn, editor-in-chief at The Daily Download; and frequent O’Reilly Factor guest Marc Lamont Hill. The consensus? Dorner’s actions were understandable.

The support that murdering fugitive Christopher Dorner is receiving from the left is a good example of the fact that modern liberalism is moral dysfunction.

The Most Interesting Career: Housewife

On the heels of my recent article on women in combat, in which I defend traditionalism, it’s perhaps a good time to also take up the cudgels for that bugaboo of women’s studies classes: the housewife.

Should we accept any social norm that discourages the cultivation of a sex’s respective qualities or serves to masculinize women or feminize men? If warfare isn’t a masculine endeavor, what is? And if putting women in military uniforms, giving them weaponry, and teaching them to be warriors doesn’t masculinize them, what does? And what does it say about our society that the masculinization of women has reached this advanced stage?

Is Man a Plague Upon the Earth?

Naturalist David Attenborough recently said that man was a plague upon the Earth, a common belief among Gaia-worshipping atheists. But is this perspective the fruit of a well-formed conscience or a deformed one? And will it lead to preservation or destruction?

Joe Biden: No Reason to Ban AR-15s

Okay, half-slow laughin’ Joe didn’t actually say that, but he might as well have. While defending his position this past Thursday that banning the rifles incorrectly called “assault weapons” won’t negatively impact upon Americans’ safety, he pointed out that you shouldn’t trouble yourself: shotguns would still be available — and they’re more effective, anyway.

The Ignorance of Anti-human David Attenborough

Liberal icon Daniel Patrick Moynihan once said, “You’re entitled to your own opinions, but you’re not entitled to your own facts.” But that was decades ago, and today more leftists than ever have graduated from confusion to delusion and believe they’re entitled to their own fiction.

A good example is naturalist David Attenborough, who recently complained that man is a plague upon our planet.

On Nullification, Just Follow Liberals’ Lead

It isn’t often that conservatives can learn something from liberals, but I think the current debate over nullification is an exception.
