ISIS, the throat-cutting, children-murdering Islamist terrorist organization that is taking over large segments of Iraq and Syria, owes its beginning to the U.S. government.

Under the guise of advancing what the United Nations refers to as “human rights,” the dictator-dominated global body is waging a full-blown assault on free-speech rights by pressuring governments to criminalize so-called “hate speech.” Indeed, working alongside radical government-funded activist groups and anti-liberty politicians around the world, the UN and other totalitarian-minded forces have now reached the point where they openly claim that what they call “international law” actually requires governments to ban speech and organizations they disapprove of.

Critics, though, are fighting back in an effort to protect freedom of speech — among the most fundamental of all real rights. While Americans’ God-given right to speak freely is firmly enshrined in the U.S. Constitution, the UN and its hordes of “human rights” bureaucrats are currently haranguing the people of Japan — among others — to drastically curtail speech rights.

With much of Obama’s Democrat political base seeking to block misnamed “free-trade” agreements at the moment, the White House is plotting with congressional Republicans and Big Business interests to advance the controversial national sovereignty-crushing agenda disguised as a “trade” deal.

Just in the last few weeks, the Obama administration has proposed or imposed over 1,200 new regulations on the American people that will add even more to the already crushing $2 trillion per year cost burden of the federal regulatory machine.

As the world’s nations are increasingly cobbled together into freakish and largely arbitrary regional unions via economic and political “integration,” transnational currencies are also advancing quickly. The European Union’s controversial single currency, the euro, is the furthest along. However, in the coming years, it will not be alone — at least if globalist forces have their way. With the internationalist-backed African Union usurping more power, for example, regional currencies are already in use across parts of that continent. Two more emerging regional regimes, meanwhile — the Eurasian Union and the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR or UNASUL) — are now making similar moves toward the creation of an eventual monetary union.

As if the American people needed more evidence that the Obama administration’s Justice Department was out of control after six years of non-stop scandals, it was recently revealed that the DOJ was funding a “community” organization linked to a controversial rap music video glorifying the murder of New York City police officers. The group in question, Bronx Defenders, has received at least $1.5 million in U.S. taxpayer dollars from the Department of Justice, and played a prominent role in the pro-cop killing music video. The link between the widely condemned rap production and the DOJ made headlines this week after two New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers were murdered, execution style, under the guise of obtaining “revenge” for the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.

In a bid to impose unconstitutional federal statutes and United Nations schemes on the people of a neighboring state, top officials in Oklahoma and Nebraska launched a federal lawsuit last week against Colorado. They argued in court that nullifying UN and U.S. government mandates purporting to require the criminalization of marijuana was unacceptable and should be quashed. The two conservative-leaning states, both of which have nullified or sought to nullify multiple unconstitutional federal usurpations of power, are asking the Supreme Court to declare the decision of Colorado voters “unconstitutional.”

While Obama framed his latest decrees on U.S. relations with the brutal Communist Cuban dictatorship this week as a way to “help” the people of Cuba and serve “American interests,” he failed to mention an important detail of his life that may have played a role in the decision. More than a decade before becoming president, Obama launched his fledgling political career in the home of an unrepentant communist terrorist whose murderous organization was backed primarily by none other than the ruthless Castro regime in Havana. That terrorist, of course, was William Ayers, co-founder of the Weather Underground infamous for bombings, terror attacks, robberies, and murders across the United States.

Despite promising repeatedly on the campaign trail to rein in George W. Bush’s executive-branch usurpations of power, Obama has been spewing a particular type of unconstitutional decree at a rate unprecedented in U.S. history. While the Obama administration has indeed unleashed a full-throated attack on the Constitution using “executive orders,” even more of his decrees have come in the form of so-called “presidential memoranda” — an almost identical type of “executive action” that he has used more than any previous U.S. president, according to a review published this week by USA Today.

Utah Demands Feds Surrender Lands by Dec. 31

With the federal government engaged in a de facto unconstitutional occupation across some two thirds of Utah’s territory, citizens of the state and their elected representatives have had just about enough. So, on December 31, the State of Utah is formally demanding that Washington, D.C., relinquish control over more than 30 million acres of valuable land currently controlled by various federal bureaucracies.

While apparatchiks for an all-powerful U.S. government and far-left activists are fuming over the plan, Utah lawmakers, citizens, and experts say the time has come for the state to manage — and profit from — its own resources. Constitutionally speaking, experts say the lands should have gone to state control decades ago, as the federal government promised.
