After having already handed Libya to al-Qaeda-linked jihadists with help from NATO and the United Nations, the Obama administration this week began bombing targets in Syria without congressional or constitutional authority. The plot to bomb Syria is supposedly aimed at battling the self-styled “Islamic State” (also known as ISIS and ISIL) — a terror group that has been among the top beneficiaries of the U.S. government’s controversial machinations in Syria thus far. However, as the bombs were raining down on Syria, top administration officials were openly celebrating their half-baked plan to help overthrow the dictatorship of Bashar al Assad, too.

With no global warming for almost two decades and record-high levels of sea ice, increasingly desperate climate alarmists have been frantically searching for something — anything! — to keep the hysteria from melting completely. That is especially important now, with the United Nations convening its member governments and dictators in New York to map out new taxes and a global “climate” regime to impose on humanity under the guise of fighting warming. Then it happened: On September 15, the Obama administration’s scandal-plagued agencies NASA and NOAA, which have been repeatedly accused by experts of manipulating temperature data to show warming, announced that August had allegedly been (just barely) the “warmest on record.” It seems that was not actually the case, climate researchers say.

Amid no increase in temperatures for almost two decades and record-high levels of sea ice, tens of thousands of global-warming protesters, maybe more, marched in New York City on Sunday demanding a wide array of absurdities and totalitarian measures.

Russia is essentially an oligarchy, with the rich and powerful running the show. And America is increasingly becoming as centralized as Russia. Now, we are being drawn together.

Putin: Key Player in the “New World Order”

A cursory look at world events, especially in Ukraine, suggests that Vladimir Putin is re-engaging the Cold War, but a closer look indicates that he is working with the West.

The supposed “moderate” rebels fighting Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad — self-styled jihadists whom the Obama administration and Congress plan to supply with even more support under the guise of battling the Islamic State (ISIS) — recently signed a non-aggression pact with ISIS (also known as ISIL), according to reports from human-rights groups and French news agency Agence France-Presse (AFP). Lawmakers on Capitol Hill pointed to the news as yet another reason why supplying U.S. arms and support to Islamic forces to battle Islamic forces was a dangerous idea. The foreign-policy establishment, however, plans to proceed with arming and training jihadists anyway.

Without congressional or constitutional authorization, this week Obama announced a plan to send 3,000 U.S. troops to West Africa, supposedly to help African governments deal with the deadly Ebola virus by imposing what amounts to medical martial law. Among other controversial activities, American forces will be working with the Liberian military to quarantine entire villages as police and troops put the entire nation of Sierra Leone on lockdown. Obama is also helping to boost the powers and capabilities of dictator-dominated international organizations under the guise of fighting the disease. Critics, though, are expressing outrage over the machinations even as senior administration officials struggle to explain it all.

With United Nations bosses gathering dictators and government representatives in New York next week for a “climate” summit amid the ongoing implosion of their man-made “global warming” theories, a coalition ranging from billionaire front groups to the Communist Party is planning what it calls “the People’s Climate March.” What critics refer to as the “global rent-a-mob,” organized in part by the Rockefeller-funded alarmist organization 350.org, claims the worldwide demonstrations demanding a UN global-warming regime will be “the largest climate rally in history.” They may well be, but that hardly changes the fact that most Americans reject failed anthropogenic global-warming (AGW) theories and that virtually every falsifiable “climate” prediction has been dead wrong.

In the Southern Hemisphere, sea-ice levels just smashed through the previous record highs across Antarctica, where there is now more ice than at any point since records began. In the Arctic, where global-warming theorists preferred to keep the public focused due to some decreases in ice levels over recent years, scientists said sea-ice melt in 2014 fell below the long-term mean. Global temperatures, meanwhile, have remained steady for some 18 years and counting, contrary to United Nations models predicting more warming as carbon dioxide levels increased.

Federal regulations imposed on America have been costing the U.S. economy more than $2 trillion every year and growing, according to a new study that sought to quantify the economic damage inflicted by Washington, D.C., politicians and bureaucrats. That drag represents well over 10 percent GDP, the report said. Especially burdened under the perpetually expanding regulatory regime are manufacturers and small businesses — two of the key sectors urgently needed to drive employment, growth, and exports amid ballooning U.S. trade and budget deficits. The most harmful and costly regulations and decrees, the report found, surround alleged “environmental” issues.
