A group of liberty-minded young Americans known as Tea Party Youth unveiled a new campaign that, among other goals, is working to stop the federal government from foisting more and more debt onto the backs of future generations. Leaders from the organization even called for a constitutional amendment to stop the schemes, blasting the imposition of a ballooning multi-trillion dollar burden on America’s youth, who cannot even vote, as being tantamount to “taxation without representation.”

Despite the alarmist “climate” claims made in an official press conference, the latest temperature data from two U.S. government bureaucracies actually show that the “pause” or “hiatus” in global warming that began some 17 years ago is still ongoing. The findings for last year, unveiled to reporters by NASA and NOAA on January 21, also showed that Antarctic sea ice extent in September of 2013 was the highest ever documented since records began.

There was a time when Barack Obama claimed to believe that raising the national debt ceiling was a “sign of leadership failure” and proof of “reckless fiscal policies” — not to mention the horrors of “shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren.” Less than eight years ago, in fact, then-Senator Obama argued that “Americans deserve better.” Apparently, now that Obama is president, they no longer do.

In yet another sign of “leadership failure,” as the current White House occupant once put it, U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew sent a letter to congressional leaders this week demanding that Congress raise the borrowing limit by late February at the latest.

As part of the ongoing North American “integration” plot being pursued by Mexican and Canadian authorities in conjunction with all arms of the Obama administration’s federal bureaucracy, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced some $230,000 dollars in “grants” to two cities in Mexico. The controversial machinations are taking place under the banner of a “bi-national” program tied to NAFTA known as “Border 2020,” or “Frontera 2020” in Spanish. However, the latest EPA schemes in Mexico, while small, represent merely one component of what analysts say is a much broader effort to undermine U.S. national sovereignty.

While the Transportation Security Administration has become notorious around the world for abusing air travelers and infringing on the unalienable rights of Americans — many critics even compare TSA tactics to “sexual molestation” and “assault” — members of at least one group were spared the humiliating Homeland Security “theater” humiliation by orders from unnamed Obama administration officials. No, it was not young children, grandmothers, or even nuns.

Instead, newly released documents confirm that the radical Muslim Brotherhood got VIP treatment from federal bureaucrats at U.S. airports. Of course, the radical Islamist outfit, admittedly dedicated to a establishing a global Muslim caliphate, has myriad connections to terrorism and jihad that have been documented by multiple governments — and even the U.S. government itself. It also has multiple connections to the Obama administration, which has become one of its chief global defenders and enablers.

A new MIT report offers further evidence that the Obama administration almost certainly used deception in its attempt to embroil the United States in Syria’s civil war.

Under the pretext of extracting more wealth and personal information from Americans living abroad by smashing all remaining vestiges of privacy, the Obama administration’s Treasury Department is bullying authorities around the world into signing unconstitutional pseudo-treaties with drastic implications for individual rights. Developments in New Zealand, where officials are already jumping onboard the deeply controversial U.S. Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) bandwagon, illustrate the problems well.

In apparent defiance of federal law and U.S. court rulings, unelected bureaucrats at the increasingly out-of-control Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other Obama administration departments unilaterally purported to grant control over the city of Riverton, Wyoming, to tribal authorities for the Wind River Indian tribes. At least two smaller towns are also affected.

The scheme appears to illustrate a growing United Nations-linked trend being witnessed across the United States and the world. In essence, vast amounts of private land and even entire towns are being taken over by authorities under various pretexts — UN agreements, Agenda 21 "sustainability," and supposed concerns about indigenous peoples — to advance a radical agenda targeting private property rights.

The number of Christians murdered for their faith almost doubled in 2013 over the previous year, according to an annual survey by Open Doors, a non-denominational ministry that monitors the persecution of believers and supports persecuted Christians worldwide. Hardline Islamist regimes and Islamic terrorists — many funded by the Obama administration and other Western governments — were behind most of the slaughter. However, for the 12th year in a row, the barbaric communist autocracy lording over North Korea was ranked as the number one persecutor of Christians in the world.

Obama administration-backed Mexican troops opened fire this week on a group of civilians seeking to keep their weapons and rein in ruthless government-linked drug cartels, which have terrorized their communities in the state of Michoacán. The attack sparked an international outcry for the citizens, who have suffered non-stop brutality at the hands of both government officials and criminal syndicates. News reports, some of which conflict with each other, suggest that around a dozen people were shot and at least four were killed in the massacre, including an 11-year-old girl. A Mexican paper reported that a dozen civilians died in the clash.
