A new MIT report offers further evidence that the Obama administration almost certainly used deception in its attempt to embroil the United States in Syria’s civil war.
Under the pretext of extracting more wealth and personal information from Americans living abroad by smashing all remaining vestiges of privacy, the Obama administration’s Treasury Department is bullying authorities around the world into signing unconstitutional pseudo-treaties with drastic implications for individual rights. Developments in New Zealand, where officials are already jumping onboard the deeply controversial U.S. Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) bandwagon, illustrate the problems well.
In apparent defiance of federal law and U.S. court rulings, unelected bureaucrats at the increasingly out-of-control Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other Obama administration departments unilaterally purported to grant control over the city of Riverton, Wyoming, to tribal authorities for the Wind River Indian tribes. At least two smaller towns are also affected.
The scheme appears to illustrate a growing United Nations-linked trend being witnessed across the United States and the world. In essence, vast amounts of private land and even entire towns are being taken over by authorities under various pretexts — UN agreements, Agenda 21 "sustainability," and supposed concerns about indigenous peoples — to advance a radical agenda targeting private property rights.
The number of Christians murdered for their faith almost doubled in 2013 over the previous year, according to an annual survey by Open Doors, a non-denominational ministry that monitors the persecution of believers and supports persecuted Christians worldwide. Hardline Islamist regimes and Islamic terrorists — many funded by the Obama administration and other Western governments — were behind most of the slaughter. However, for the 12th year in a row, the barbaric communist autocracy lording over North Korea was ranked as the number one persecutor of Christians in the world.
Obama administration-backed Mexican troops opened fire this week on a group of civilians seeking to keep their weapons and rein in ruthless government-linked drug cartels, which have terrorized their communities in the state of Michoacán. The attack sparked an international outcry for the citizens, who have suffered non-stop brutality at the hands of both government officials and criminal syndicates. News reports, some of which conflict with each other, suggest that around a dozen people were shot and at least four were killed in the massacre, including an 11-year-old girl. A Mexican paper reported that a dozen civilians died in the clash.
Sounding more like a third-world dictator than a U.S. president who took an oath to uphold the Constitution, Obama announced that he would no longer wait for Congress or legislation to impose his radical agenda to "fundamentally transform" America. Instead, in January 14 remarks about making 2014 a “year of action,” Obama declared that his administration would expand its rule-by-decree machinations through the use of even more anti-constitutional “executive orders” and “executive actions.” The radical plan, analysts say, is setting up a potential showdown of historic proportions with lawmakers and an increasingly outraged American public.
For over a decade, under multiple administrations, the U.S. government had a secret agreement with the ruthless Mexican Sinaloa drug cartel that allowed it to operate with impunity, an in-depth investigation by a leading Mexican newspaper confirmed this week. In exchange for information and assistance in quashing competing criminal syndicates, the Bush and Obama administrations let the Sinaloa cartel import tons of drugs into the United States while wiping out Sinaloa competitors and ensuring that its leaders would not be prosecuted for their long list of major crimes. Other revelations also point strongly to massive but clandestine U.S. government involvement in drug trafficking.
When the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) began engaging in horrific mind-control experiments starting in the early 1950s under the now partially exposed Project MKUltra, the Communist Party-run terror regime ruling the former Soviet Union had been working on such plots for decades. According to a recently released report by Serge Kernbach with Germany’s Research Centre of Advanced Robotics and Environmental Science, the Soviet regime poured at least $1 billion — probably much, much more — into research and programs often aimed at literally controlling the human mind and manipulating behavior.
Many of the programs continued long after the supposed collapse of the mass-murdering U.S.S.R. regime, too, Kernbach found.
Global warming alarmists are facing an increasingly skeptical public as their hysterical “climate-change” predictions continue to be exposed as wildly inaccurate. Still, the Obama administration, the Communist Party USA, radical Senate Democrats, the establishment media, and other proponents of discredited United Nations theories on alleged “catastrophic man-made global warming” are not throwing in the towel just yet. Instead, they are doubling down on the alarmism, putting the slowly dying alarmist juggernaut into overdrive.
At this point, however, critics and independent scientists, many of whom are now forecasting global cooling, say the alarmists are simply making fools of themselves.
Fifty years ago this week, President Lyndon Johnson announced the “War on Poverty” during his first State of the Union Speech. Under the Obama administration, however — five decades, countless unconstitutional federal welfare programs, and more than $20 trillion later — poverty levels remain largely unchanged even based on official numbers, and dependence on government has reached unprecedented new heights.
In reality, Americans’ economic fate is far worse than even bogus government statistics would suggest. Even more troubling is that analysts say the trends look set to accelerate as Washington, D.C., intensifies its failed efforts to achieve “victory” in the “war” while the Federal Reserve conjures ever greater quantities of currency into existence.
