Even though the Obama administration’s previous unconstitutional support for jihadists and rebels in Syria empowered the “Islamic State” to begin with, the president announced on September 10 that his strategy to deal with the ISIS threat would be to provide still more weapons and training to Islamists. Without constitutional or congressional authority to do so, then, Obama is plotting to supposedly defeat jihadists and terrorists by arming and supporting what he refers to as “moderate” jihadists and terrorists. In reality, as has been documented by The New American and countless others, there is virtually no difference between the “moderate rebels” and the terrorists often referred to as ISIS or ISIL.

Despite not having even a smidgen of constitutionally required congressional approval to wage war, Obama announced on September 10 that he would be launching even more military attacks in the Middle East. Under the guise of attacking the “Islamic State” — a terrorist group his administration literally built up in the first place — the president plans to arm more jihadists and put more American lives at risk, all on his own. Some U.S. lawmakers faithful to their oath of office, though, are speaking out, calling on the president to obey his own oath to the Constitution and obtain necessary authority from Congress prior to waging even more war.

Outrage is still growing after a bipartisan coalition of U.S. lawmakers last month demanded an independent investigation of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), a UN outfit, over its controversial activities in the latest conflict between Israel and Hamas, the officially designated terrorist group that rules Gaza. Some former officials and critics of the international organization are even calling on Congress to entirely defund some of its agencies and “human rights” outfits. Instead, the Obama administration has pledged even more U.S. taxpayer funding.

During a meeting with Pope Francis at the Vatican last week, former Israeli President Shimon Peres urged the Catholic pontiff to help build a United Nations-like organization for different faiths dubbed the “Organization of United Religions.” Peres also referred to his proposed entity for “interfaith dialogue” as a “UN of religions.” While the pope was reportedly open to the idea, his spokesman suggested that no commitment was made to necessarily pursue it. Numerous prophecy watchers and analysts, meanwhile, highlighted news of the proposal as an important development with potentially deep prophetic implications.

As outrage and despair continue to grow among millions of middle-class Americans living abroad over the uniquely draconian U.S. taxation regime, which taxes citizens no matter where in the world they live and work, the Republican National Committee took a significant step toward fixing the problem. Last month, as part of a broader effort spearheaded by leaders of the GOP-affiliated Republicans Overseas group, the RNC voted unanimously to support ending the controversial U.S. system of “citizenship-based taxation.” In the measure, the Republican Party’s decision-making body also cited numerous threats to the U.S. economy, American jobs, and even the dollar’s status as the global reserve currency while blasting FATCA. GOP leaders say the stance will be included in the party’s 2016 platform.

As awareness grows of the international establishment’s globalist plotting against liberty and national sovereignty, problems on the road toward a “New World Order” are becoming increasingly obvious, and opposition is surging in tandem. It seems that insider bigwigs are getting nervous. Changes in strategy may be forthcoming as a result. Still, as a recent “analysis” by establishment spokesman Henry Kissinger makes clear, the powerful forces of globalism and totalitarianism have no intention of backing down from their plot to impose their “New World Order” on humanity.

Burger King’s decision to move its headquarters to Canada using what the political class refers to as the “inversion loophole” has sparked another round of outrage from politicians, many of whom seem to believe that companies exist primarily to finance Uncle Sam. Despite claims made by Obama and other Big Government mongers that the strategic relocations show a lack of “economic patriotism,” the real cause of the accelerating corporate exodus surrounds oppressive U.S. tax laws almost unique to the United States, experts say. Individual citizens are fleeing, too. Without serious reforms, the trends are likely to accelerate.

The Obama administration, conspiring with the United Nations and various foreign governments, is plotting to foist a draconian “global-warming” regime on the American people — without ratification by a two-thirds majority of the U.S. Senate, as required by the Constitution for all treaties. The radical strategy primarily involves semantics and legal quackery: Instead of calling the controversial scheme a “treaty,” the White House is pursuing what it calls an international “accord.” If Congress does not step in to stop it, the global plot would ration emissions of carbon dioxide and energy while redistributing potentially trillions of dollars from Western taxpayers to Third World regimes. Globalists and alarmists hope to conclude the UN deal at a “climate” summit in Paris next year.

Following an explosive report in The Times of London citing forensic experts, the establishment press around the world is now reporting that the video purporting to show the beheading of American journalist James Foley by an Islamic State (ISIS) jihadist was probably “staged.” Other respected analysts had suggested that the execution footage could be bogus even before that. While it seems to be generally accepted that Foley was indeed killed, questions surrounding the barbaric alleged death and its implications continue to grow around the world. Countless theories and claims have surfaced purporting to explain it.

Israel Bans Water Fluoridation

Israeli authorities last week unveiled a nationwide ban on the controversial practice of adding the chemical fluoride, labeled a “neurotoxin” by a top medical journal this year, to public water supplies as a medical treatment. The decision by the Health Ministry to ban what critics call a dangerous, involuntary mass-medication scheme drew applause from many medical and some dental experts around the world. However, it also prompted outrage and vicious attacks by proponents of fluoridation, who say the chemical provides alleged benefits to children’s teeth. The ban is a major blow to supporters of using the water supply to medicate the public.
