In what critics said was a transparent bid to build some semblance of support for more usurpations of power and its economy-crushing executive decrees on “global warming,” the Obama administration released a massive new report on “climate change” packed with alarmism, pseudo-science, and bizarre fear-mongering. Top White House officials warned that the American people, acting through their elected representatives in Congress, have “zero chance” of stopping the looming abuses. Opponents of the climate hysteria and escalating federal lawlessness, however, are not so sure.

With recently released e-mails exposing more of the Obama administration’s lies and deception on the deadly Benghazi attack, top lawmakers in Congress finally decided to create a select committee to investigate. However, it remains to be seen whether the real issues and questions surrounding the killing of a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans will actually be addressed this time.

As religious freedom continues to come under ruthless attack by governments from Communist China and North Korea to the Middle East, major new threats to religious liberty are increasingly emerging across the West. While early warning signs have been flashing in the United States, across Europe efforts to infringe on the right to freedom of religion are even more advanced. If left unchecked, religious-freedom advocates warn that the controversial plots have the potential to eventually unleash mass abuses and human-rights violations by governments even in formerly free nations.

The Founding Fathers created the U.S. government for the express purpose of securing the God-given individual rights of Americans, according to the Declaration of Independence. A poll released last month, however, confirmed yet again that a majority of voters now view the perpetually expanding Leviathan as a threat to those rights and individual liberty. More than one in three Americans even fears the federal government, the recent poll showed, confirming other surveys finding broad public agreement that Washington, D.C., has become dangerous and out of control.

In keeping with an accelerating trend of seeking to dictate U.S. and state policy, self-styled “human rights” officials at the dictator-dominated United Nations blasted the United States — and Oklahoma in particular — for allegedly violating what the UN calls “international law.” Responding to what has been described as the “botched” execution of convicted rapist and murderer Clayton Lockett this week, the international outfit’s “human rights office” called on authorities across America to end the death penalty.

Despite billions of dollars spent to prop up the Obama administration-pushed national education standards known as Common Core with deceptive propaganda, the scheme is quickly becoming a punchline and a toxic liability for politicians. Critics are scoring major victories from sea to shining sea. Indeed, virtually every state government that accepted bribes from Washington, D.C., to impose the controversial plot is now battling a fast-growing grassroots army of parents and teachers that transcends traditional partisan divides and may ultimately crush the education establishment.

Much has been written about the ongoing efforts by globalists and the international establishment to centralize political and economic power. From the European Union, the African Union and the Union of South American States all the way to the United Nations, would-be transnational authorities are fervently seeking to consolidate and expand their power over increasingly large swaths of humanity. At the same time, though, with citizens becoming increasingly weary of being ruled by far-away, unaccountable forces, secession movements around the world are exploding.

Under the guise of advancing “global governance” over the Internet by so-called stakeholders — including, of course, governments, autocrats, and international organizations such as the United Nations — the radical Brazilian government brought together key players for the “NETmundial” summit last week. Well aware that any obvious plot to advance UN control over the World Wide Web would be a non-starter among Americans and the West, however, participants sought to conceal the real agenda in the final agreement behind innocent-sounding language. They failed.

Before being sanitized by a “ghostwriter” who now works in the Obama administration, the recently released original manuscript of South African revolutionary Nelson Mandela’s autobiography exposed the widely celebrated figure as a self-proclaimed violent enemy of “democracy.” The first Long Walk to Freedom manuscript also reveals Mandela’s little-known support of violence and terror to advance communism. Largely ignored thus far, the document paints a picture of Mandela that is entirely at odds with the myths of a peace-loving political prisoner propagated by the establishment, communists, and the Western media.

A heavily redacted memo from then-President Bill Clinton’s White House, released last week as part of a vast cache of papers from the Clinton Library, revealed that the disgraced administration was frantic about the rise of the free Internet and its implications. The radical document expresses paranoia about the fact that Americans — especially those on what it calls the “right wing” — could now bypass the establishment media to spread the truth and ideas, all of it “unregulated.” Gasp!
