The FBI has announced that violent crime dropped nationwide in 2011, but a closer analysis of the data, according to 24/7 Wall Street, shows that violent crime in the most dangerous American cities is worsening.
“A 24/7 Wall St. review of 2011 FBI crime data,” the website reported, “shows that violent crime rose in more than half of the cities that have among the highest rates in the country. In seven of the 10 cities, murder rates increased. In eight of the 10, burglary went up.”

Networks: Most Polled Support Arizona’s Immigration Law
Two recent polls show that Americans support Arizona’s tough immigration law that the Obama administration is trying to overturn in the U.S. Supreme Court. The CNN and CBS/New York Times surveys both show that most Americans clearly don’t think the law is racist and believe the states should play a role in enforcing immigration law.
Former APA President Says Homosexuals Can Change
The former president of the American Psychological Association says political correctness and homosexual ideology rule the organization, and that leaving the homosexual “lifestyle” is indeed a possibility, a position contrary to that of the APA.
New Mexico Court: Christian Business Owners Have No Rights
Judge Timothy Garcia of the state’s court of appeals upheld a ruling by New Mexico’s Civil Rights Commission that fined the owners of Elane Photography nearly $7,000 when the photographer refused to photograph two lesbians at their “commitment ceremony.”
Dershowitz: Prosecutor Should Drop Charges Against Zimmerman
Leftist Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz says special prosecutor Angela Corey should drop the second-degree murder charge against George Zimmerman, the Hispanic man who shot Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26 in Sanford, Florida.
The evidence that Zimmerman told the truth when he said Martin attacked and tried to kill him, Dershowitz wrote in the New York Daily News, is too much to ignore. And the only right thing for the prosecutor to do, he concluded, is forget about nailing Zimmerman for murder.
Census Bureau: Whites Now a Minority of Births
With Hispanics now the majority of births in the country, population trends show that whites will be a minority by 2042. Unsurprisingly, states hit hardest by illegal immigration are among those where whites are no longer a majority, the bureau reported: California, Texas, and New Mexico.
Medical Report Shows Martin Attacked Zimmerman
Evidence strongly suggests George Zimmerman, the man who shot Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla., told the truth when he said he shot Martin in self defense. On Tuesday, ABC News released the medical report that details Zimmerman’s injuries. It is thoroughly consistent with Zimmerman’s claim that Martin savagely attacked him, forcing Zimmerman to pull his gun and shoot Martin.

The Catholic bishop of Davenport, Iowa, has decided to allow a homosexual group to present a hefty scholarship to a homosexual student at Prince of Peace Catholic high school.
After first refusing to permit the Eychaner Foundation to present the scholarship at Price of Peace High, Bishop Martin Amos reached an agreement with the group. Amos and the foundation jointly approved a script that will be read at an awards ceremony where Keaton Fuller will receive a $40,000 scholarship.
Epic Failure: "Hardball’s" Chris Matthews Flops on "Jeopardy!"
Television savant Chris Matthews, who ridiculed Sarah Palin, the failed GOP vice presidential candidate, as lacking in brain power, may now be regretting those words.
Matthews, the host of MSNBC's "Hardball," recently appeared on the television quiz show Jeopardy! and came in third place with just $2,300. The last-place finish wouldn't be worth noting except that in repeatedly telling his audience that Palin is dead from the neck up, he also mentioned that she would fare poorly on Jeopardy!
