The legislation, which was aimed at securing the rights enshrined in the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, sailed through the Texas House earlier this month as H.B. 1937 with a unanimous vote. It was then sent to the state Senate. (May 26 update: The effort to resurrect the anti-TSA bill in the Texas state Senate prior to the end of the legislative session did not succeed, despite the strong grassroots support for the bill. For an update, click here.) Photo: A TSA officer pats down a traveler as she works his way through security at San Francisco International Airport in San Francisco, Nov. 24, 2010. Trackback(0)

Statesmen Only Please I will not vote for anyone who has not demonstrated a record of consistently protecting and defending the U.S. Constitution. This means the vast majority of Republicans and Democrats are unfit for public office as far as I'm concerned. I know I'm not alone. Until the U.S. Constitution is restored to its proper place as the law of the land - flight's on! Any politician or judge who fails to consistently protect and defend our Constitution is a traitor as far as I'm concerned. I will campaign against these scum. I will draw attention to their crimes. I will call them on their every misdeed. I will place every word and action of these filthy traitors under the microscope. They are traitorous scum. If the won't uphold their oath to the U.S. Constitution, then there is no limit to their perfidy. I will watch, I will learn, I will expose all their despicable behavior, both public and private. No quarter! |

scratching my head Federal government officials presume they have authority to tell planes in Texas what they can do, without their agreement? This is against principles inscribed since Magna Carta, and against representative government. Isn't declaring a "no fly zone" an act that is used in war? Do we really have certain officials in the Federal government asserting that they would war against citizens of a state in their jurisdiction when the elected state government tries to protect its own citizens in response to the citizens' request? |

No Fly Zone If this were a threat against another country it would be considered an act of war. If it made it to that point here in Texas where that sorry Marxist thought he had the yellow balls to do something so stupid every Texan here would be up in the air with their private planes flying. What would that piece of crap do next shoot us down? Bring it on you yellow balled coward. |
