Michael Flynn Expected To Be “Completely Exonerated” This Week

Maria Bartiromo, who hosts Mornings with Maria and Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street on the Fox Business Network, tweeted Sunday afternoon that General Michael Flynn “will be completely exonerated this week.” Flynn, who served the Trump administration briefly in the early months, had pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI and was scheduled to be sentenced soon.

But, according to Bartiromo, “It was a total fraud. A set up.”

One of the first things Flynn’s new attorney, Sidney Powell, did when she took over his case last fall was to file a “motion to compel” against federal prosecutors who, she said, were deliberately and intentionally withholding evidence that would exonerate Flynn.

She received that information, and on Saturday night Powell filed an addendum with the court demanding that the court overturn Flynn’s conviction and dismiss the entire case against him.

Said Powell:

This afternoon, the government [finally] produced to Mr. Flynn stunning Brady evidence [evidence that would exculpate or exonerate Flynn from any wrongdoing] that proves Mr. Flynn’s allegations of having been deliberately set up and framed by corrupt agents at the top of the FBI….

Since August 2016 at the latest, partisan FBI and DOJ leaders conspired to destroy Mr. Flynn. These [newly released] documents show in their own handwriting and emails that they intended either to create an offense they could prosecute or at least get him fired.

After reading Powell’s 37-page Motion to Dismiss, 25-year FBI veteran James Gagliano was forced to admit that Peter Strzok and Lisa Page deliberately and intentionally and malevolently conspired to change some official records of the infamous interview that led to Flynn being charged with lying. Thus, he said,

I have long maintained that innocent mistakes were made and that the investigators at the center of this maelstrom were entitled to the benefit of the doubt. No more.

They have tarnished the badge and forever stained an agency that deserved so much better from them. I am ashamed. The irreparable damage Comey’s team has done to the FBI will take a generation to reverse.

It’s been three long and very painful years for Flynn. It is expected that he will accept exoneration gracefully.

The question remains: Will Strzok and Page ever be held accountable for their crime?
