One terror leader in particular, Abdelhakim Belhaj, made headlines around the world over the weekend after it emerged that he was appointed the chief of Tripoli’s rebel Military Council. Prior to leading rebel forces against Gaddafi’s regime, Belhaj was the founder and leader of the notorious Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG).
Escobar also noted that the repercussions would be widespread. “The story of how an al-Qaeda asset turned out to be the top Libyan military commander in still war-torn Tripoli is bound to shatter — once again — that wilderness of mirrors that is the ‘war on terror,’” he noted. It will also compromise “the carefully constructed propaganda of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO's) ‘humanitarian’ intervention in Libya.” Photo: Rebel fighters belonging to a battalion commanded by Abdel-Moneim Mokhtar, a former Libyan rebel fighter and military commander in the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), who was ambushed and killed by Moammar Gadhafi's troops last April: AP Images Trackback(0)

The way the West Likes It The leaders in the West are not dumb. They know that what they are doing in Libya, with their rebel's aid, will divide the nation just like what happened in Iraq. While the populace is distracted with atrocities and fighting, the West quietly makes "deals" for the resources. It's part of the "plan". People need to put away their delusions about what our nation is (and at times has been). It is not the good beacon of light as we have been taught. Here is example of what happened to Iraqis (and others) and what will happen in Libya: Report: How BP Secretly Renegotiated Its Iraqi Oil Contract, and How Iraqis Will Pay the Price: http://www.americanpendulum.com/2011/08/report-how-bp-secretly-renegotiated-its-iraqi-oil-contract-and-how-iraqis-will-pay-the-price/ And Rebecca Murray's report at the Inter Press Service on how the US military is transporting known trafficked women to their Iraqi bases for servicing the men (all this after they raped and pillaged the nation and slaughtered 10's of thousands of innocent): http://www.ipsnews.net/news.asp?idnews=104911 |

... Wouldn't helping the enemy that were supposedly fighting in other countries be considered treason or something? Hussein, Sarkozy, Cameron and their puppet masters need to answer for this in a court of law before more destruction rains down on more innocent people. |

Obozo is a War Criminal The Obozo regime again manages to do the dumbest possible thing and avoid any criticism and even keep his "peace prize". What a sick joke. Between him and the Bush regime it's amazing America as a nation is even still standing though I guess we can't say the same for Libya Iraq Afghanistan. |

... To me it doesn't make any sense to spend billions to replace one tinpot with different tinpot dictators who happen to hate us more than the last tinpot dictator. It would sure be nice if we could just mind our own business and obey the Constitution instead of going abroad in search of monsters to destroy. |

The NWO is taking out Libya for a reason I'm opposed to socialism on principle but we've been utterly lied to about Kadafy and what is going on. The NWO is taking him out because he refused to sell his people out. Don't believe me? Watch this then do some reasearch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q11R56Y0Dx4&feature=youtu.be |
