The U.S. government is demanding almost $7,000 from the family of jailed Border Patrol agent Jesus “Chito” Diaz (left), who was prosecuted in what critics called an outrageous miscarriage of justice aimed at placating Mexican officials. But advocates for the family are still fighting back.

Despite numerous problems in the prosecution’s case, Border Patrol agent Jesus "Chito" Diaz was sentenced to two years in federal prison for convictions stemming from his supposedly rough treatment of an illegal immigrant caught smuggling drugs.

Border Patrol Boss Attacked as Propagandist

U.S. Border Patrol chief David Aguilar (left) is under fire from all directions as scandals surrounding his statements and actions continue to grow. And in a report for the Liberty News Network, national correspondent and border-security expert Andy Ramirez took him to task yet again.

The National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers is calling for a reversal of the Obama administration’s “autocratic” policy designed to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants without so much as approval from Congress, saying the President has shown "contempt" for the Constitution and the laws he is sworn to uphold.  

Rank-and-file U.S. Border Patrol agents were furious with then-chief David Aguilar’s open support for “comprehensive immigration reform” and other controversial policies, footage obtained exclusively by Liberty News Network correspondent Andy Ramirez revealed (photo at left from video).
