As of their Friday night game on October 2, the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School football team, the Warriors, have been forbidden from using Bible verses on the large banner they run through to make their entrance onto the playing field.
The "Mainstream Media" is finally being forced to report on some inconvenient truths about President Obama's "Safe Schools Czar" Kevin Jennings. However, it obviously will take some more serious nudging from the public and conservative alternate media before the pro-Obama, pro-homosexual press reports on the issue in an even half-way credible manner.
The controversy over the honorary degree the University of Notre Dame awarded President Barrack Obama last spring is not over. A total of 88 pro-life demonstrators who were arrested for entering the South Bend, Indiana, campus to protest the award given at the May 17 commencement still face trial on criminal trespass charges.
The Obama adoration choir in the major media have been assigning the "racist" and "extremist" labels to critics of the new president since before he was elected. No matter how controversial, unconstitutional, expensive, or expansive any Obama program proposal may be, you can be sure his supporters (both in and out of the media) will divine a bigoted, malicious motive lurking beneath the surface of even the most reasoned voice of opposition.
Would you hire school teachers and mete out punishment to students based on race? Some obviously would, as this is exactly what’s happening in Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) in Arizona.

Belmont Abbey College President William K. Thierfelder says he will shut down his school before doing so, citing the Catholic Church’s prohibition on contraception and First Amendment religious liberty rights.
Once people start finding out about Kevin Jennings, President Obama's "Safe Schools" czar, he may end up going the way of Van Jones. Jones, the president's "Green Jobs" czar, resigned September 6 amidst much rejoicing on the right. Predictably, Jones and his defenders blamed his demise on "a vicious smear campaign" by racist opponents "using lies and distortions."
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on September 8 published an opinion piece by Brian Crosby. In his article, Mr. Crosby proffers a solution to the problem of underperforming schools and schools suffering a lack of resources and funds. According to Mr. Crosby, the cure to the nationwide pandemic of withering budget cuts is “to start charging parents tuition for their children’s public school education.”
At high noon today, EDT, Barack Obama issued a challenge to America’s schoolchildren. In his much anticipated back-to-school speech, he appealed to students to stay in school, work hard, set goals, and not use personal crosses as an excuse to fail.
"This isn't a policy speech. It's a speech designed to encourage kids to stay in school," an Obama administration spokesman told the Cable News Network in response to the uproar over the president's planned webcast and TV speech to the nation's schoolchildren on September 8. "The goal of the speech and the lesson plans is to challenge students to work hard, stay in school and dramatically reduce the dropout rate."
