Black Sheriff Scorches “Black Lives Matter” Protesters

Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke, Jr. aimed a stinging rebuke to the many protesters who have clogged streets, blocked highways, and demonstrated their breast-beating concern over the killing by police of two black men.

In a message he sent to a New York Times journalist based in Chicago, Clarke stated, “If only those faux protesters were asked by the media about all the black on black killing of black babies aborted in the U.S. every year.”

Asked to verify that he had indeed sent the message, Clarke responded, “When I hear these things that ‘black lives matter,’ the only people who really believe that statement are American police officers who go into American ghettos every day to keep people from killing each other….”

Referring to abortion clinics, Sheriff Clarke added: “Look, the abortions? If black lives, if they really mattered, that’s where the outrage would be. That’s where we’d see protests.”

Statistics released by the Centers for Disease Control show that the number of black Americans seeking abortions far exceeds the percentage of blacks living in the communities.

Sheriff Clarke obviously believes that every abortion snuffs out an innocent life. Killing a baby in the womb is a crime even if the Supreme Court disagrees. There happens to be a higher court that will judge those who terminate life, especially a defenseless unborn child simply waiting for a few more days to begin life outside the womb. Sheriff Clarke seems to understand this. Good for him.
