Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore, who stood firm in defense of marriage and the Constitution despite a blatantly illegal U.S. Supreme Court ruling pretending to create a “right” to “homosexual marriage,” was suspended from his elected post this week by rogue judicial officials. The removal was obtained without the required unanimous support. According to Justice Moore's attorneys, that means the outcome of the legal assault was itself an “unbelievable violation of the law.”
Despite the lawless attack on Justice Moore, however, the fact remains that neither the U.S. Supreme Court nor the federal government have any legitimate authority over marriage — much less the authority to redefine or even undefine it and then impose their radical view on the entire nation.
As the radical ideology of globalism comes under increasing pressure worldwide, a number of prominent theologians are joining the discussion, blasting the internationalist movement as “demonic” and even “anti-Christ” in nature. With a link on the subject to the widely read Christian Post appearing this week on the influential Drudge Report, the sharp criticism is making major waves worldwide. But the argument is hardly new.
The opening shot in a widely anticipated establishment crackdown on educational freedom may have been fired last week. Speaking at a breakfast with reporters, Obama's controversial Education Secretary, pro-Common Core activist John King, said he was “concerned” that some home-educated children were not getting the “breadth of instructional experience” they would get at a traditional school. While the senior Obama bureaucrat acknowledged that many homeschool families are doing it well, he also repeated the debunked smear that homeschooled children lack opportunities for socialization. Experts and critics, though, promptly lambasted King for his naive or malicious comments, suggesting that, if anything, he ought to be far more concerned about children in public schools. Some experts even offered to help educate Obama's education chief on the issue.
The terms “religious freedom” and “religious liberty” are actually just code words for racism, intolerance, sexism, discrimination, and more, according to a radical left-wing activist Obama appointee serving as chairman of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (USCCR). In a report released this month on balancing religious freedom with government decrees, the controversial outfit also called on policymakers to limit as much as possible religious exemptions on everything from mandated support for homosexuality to allowing men into girls' bathrooms. Critics, though, are outraged at the bigotry and intolerance displayed by Obama's extremist appointees.
With its “New Urban Agenda” set to be formally adopted by dictators and member governments next month, the United Nations is plotting its latest monumental assault on private property, the free enterprise system, national sovereignty, and human liberty. Taken as a whole, the UN's radical new plan outlines a vision of an Orwellian world order of centrally planned, “compact” mega-cities run and guided by UN dictates and under total surveillance. Despite all the nice-sounding rhetoric about “equality” and “prosperity,” the text of the document also demands policies that have been repeatedly proven to cause misery, inequality, and poverty. Humanity should resist.
Perhaps in an effort to help balance out all the unconstitutional foreign aid showered on hostile regimes and anti-Israel United Nations bureaucracies, the Obama administration just signed an agreement purporting to commit American taxpayers to the largest military aid package in U.S. history.
As the United Nations becomes increasingly radical in its assaults on liberty and national sovereignty, the movement for free nations to leave the dictator-dominated UN has now officially arrived in Australia. Speaking on the floor of Parliament in his inaugural address, newly elected Senator Malcolm Roberts with the One Nation party said Australian values were under threat from “insidious” institutions such as the unelected UN. To deal with it, he called for an “OzExit.” In a passionate defense of freedom, Roberts also blasted privately owned central banks and the incestuous relationship between global mega-banks and Big Government.
In an open letter to members of the United Nations Security Council, victims and political prisoners of the brutal communist regime that enslaved Bulgaria blasted Bulgarian communist and UN Secretary-General candidate Irina Bokova. In addition to highlighting Bokova's troubling communist background, the Bulgarian victims of communism also criticized a self-styled group of “Bulgarian intellectuals” who endorsed Bokova's “preposterous candidacy.” Among other concerns, the victims noted that almost all of the signatories on the endorsement letter were members of the Bulgarian Communist Party “and actively participated in all actions of the repressive Communist regime.”
Yet another top military leader for the Islamic State, or ISIS, was exposed as having been trained by the U.S. government — this one as recently as 2014 and on American soil, according to media reports confirmed as accurate by the U.S. State Department. The new ISIS military also said in a video that he was secretly trained in Russia.
With Obama illegally plotting to hand over a crucial piece of the Internet's architecture to a United Nations-style outfit before he leaves office — and potentially kill Internet freedom as we know it — Republicans in Congress are fighting back. Among other serious concerns, lawmakers have been warning that giving up control of ICANN, which manages the assignment of website domains, could open the door to Internet censorship by the UN and its oftentimes totalitarian governments. Other critics have warned of potential international taxes levied by UN agencies. But with the White House aiming to complete the surrender by September 31, a growing coalition of liberty-minded GOP lawmakers are working to derail the controversial administration effort.
