MADRID–At the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25) in Madrid, The New American magazine’s foreign correspondent was minding his own business asking people for their opinions. Suddenly, a guy walks up to the people Newman was interviewing and warns them that The New American is a “right-wing” magazine. Apparently, this far-left activist, Micah Garen, who has worked with George Soros’ foundation and the UN, believes journalists should preface questions by explaining their own political opinions. Yet he refused to say whether he reveals his own radical leftwing extremism when interviewing subjects.
