New “Award” from CBP Puts Agents' Lives at Risk

To encourage “safer” encounters between border agents and illegal immigrants, CBP has issued a new award to strive towards titled the “Use of Deadly Force Encounter Averted” award. It is an award which congratulates border agents who have disarmed suspects through verbal commands instead of needing to use force.
