Anti-Gun Rights David Hogg Calls for Canadians to Intervene to Save America

Appearing on stage at the Toronto (Canada) Film Festival, anti-gun rights activist David Hogg asked Canadians to intervene in American elections with campaign contributions. Hogg and some other Parkland, Florida, high school students had been invited up to the stage last week by movie producer Michael Moore. They had just screened Moore’s anti-Trump film Fahrenheit 11/9.

Moore is known for left-leaning “documentaries,” such as Bowling for Columbine, in which he cruelly mocked Charlton Heston, the former president of the National Rifle Association, who was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

Hogg took the microphone away from Moore and shouted, “I have a question for you guys. Who’s ready to save America?” Hogg specifically expressed concern about what would happen if the Democrats fail to re-take Congress in November.

After applause, Hogg continued, asking the Canadian audience, “Who’s ready to make America the country we say it is on paper, and make it the actual country that it wants to be?”

Turning to Moore, Hogg demonstrated his ignorance when he told the Canadian audience, “I think Canadians can donate to political campaigns in the United States.”

Moore, however, shook his head at the suggestion. Hogg responded, “They can’t? Well, uh, vote here,” as though that would make any difference with American gun laws.

After taking the microphone back, Moore explained to the audience that they cannot legally donate to an American political campaign. “So, no, they can’t give us money.”

The Federal Election Campaign Act states that any contribution by a foreign national to the campaign of American candidate for any election, state or national, is illegal. And, anyone who receives, solicits, or accepts a contribution from a foreigner is in violation of the law.

Getting the microphone a second time, Hogg revealed his animosity toward President Trump, calling on the Internal Revenue Service to audit him and making the wild charge that he “likely got $30 million from Russia via the NRA” (video below).

After the shooting at Parkland, much of the national media latched onto Hogg as the face of anti-gun rights protests by high schoolers. The truth is, however, that Hogg is not just some otherwise politically moderate child who became active after the tragic shooting. At the event, Hogg condemned the idea that convicts in prison should not be allowed to vote in elections, calling it an injustice. When someone shouted, “Shame!” Hogg responded, “Turn that shame into your vote.” Apparently realizing that Canadians cannot vote in U.S. elections, he added, “if you’re not Canadian.”

He told the Canadian audience, “Learn from us. Don’t let this happen here because we need to come to you guys if we stay on this track.” Exactly what Canadians could do about American domestic politics, since they cannot legally vote in the United States, nor contribute money to American left-wing candidates, was not made clear.

But what is clear is that Hogg is a creature of the media, and that he is strongly left-wing. He regularly throws up a clenched fist when basking in the camera lighting of a fawning media. The clenched fist has been recognized as a communist salute for decades. John Lautner, a former top official of the Communist Party, USA, told American Opinion magazine (the forerunner to The New American) in 1970, “The clenched fist salute has been used among revolutionaries for many centuries as a symbol of defiance, comradeship, and solidarity. It was employed during the bloody French Revolution of 1789…. At the formation of the First International in London in 1864, Karl Marx and his followers gave the clenched-fist salute … Since the Third International, the Comintern begun at Moscow in 1919, it has been the official salute of all Communist Parties throughout the world.”

Hogg’s radicalism apparently runs in the family. His mother, Rebecca Boldrick, is a huge supporter of Planned Parenthood, considered the biggest abortion provider in America. She hates Trump, and has posted on Facebook, “I can’t sit idly by and do nothing with what is going on currently in the USA. If you like what Trump is currently doing please unfriend or block me because you won’t like what I am going to be posting.”
